SHOW AND TELL: the Alexa Rose Residency at The Common Well
12 Artists-in-Residence moved in to studios on Nov. 1, 2024.
An innovative residency opportunity for artists whose practice includes but is not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, creative writing, filmmaking and new forms. This transformative experience includes a culminating Exhibition and Reception, as well as an Artist Talk or Workshop hosted by The Common Well. Residents access workspace 24/7 for focused artmaking and receive customized professional mentorship, artistic critique, and coaching on business strategy and next steps to sustain and grow their artistic careers. Residents join a multi-disciplinary cohort for an immersive experience where artists bring the full measure of their creative energy, resulting in surprising collaborations and new professional relationships at the national level. Update: 24 artists were accepted for May 2024- April 2025. Please watch for future updates.

Light of Day, a new Creative Development Award of $10,000 for artistic projects completed and brought to a national audience by February 2026. Selections were announced in February 2024.
