CHARTING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN LANDSCAPE, IDENTITY, AND ART.
Kirsten Furlong is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, and educator whose work explores the intersection of ecology, history, and place. Known for her mastery of materials and deep engagement with the natural world, Furlong’s practice spans drawing, printmaking, and sculptural forms that illuminate the beauty and fragility of wildlife and landscapes. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, with pieces in the collections of the Portland Art Museum, Library of Congress, and Denali National Park. As Director of the Blue Galleries and Lecturer at Boise State University, Furlong is a guiding force in Idaho’s arts community, mentoring generations of artists while continuing to evolve a practice rooted in inquiry, experimentation, and care for the world around her.

A CREATIVE PRACTICE IN PURSUIT OF JOY
Grant Olsen is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, and radio host whose work is guided by a pursuit of joy—joy that knows sorrow, relief, and connection. His practice spans painting, installation, performance, and sound, each piece offering an invitation to community and belonging. Olsen’s work has appeared across the United States, with public art throughout Boise including the iconic I Love You mural and installations for the Boise Art Museum’s Idaho Triennial and Visual Chronicle of Boise. As host of It’s Now Right Now on Radio Boise for over a decade, he approaches broadcasting as an art form, blending music and storytelling to create moments of shared wonder. A generous contributor to countless community projects and benefits, Olsen’s creative life reflects a belief that art can build, mend, and uplift. His work continues to shape Boise’s cultural landscape with empathy, imagination, and light.

EXPLORING THE BRAVE NEW WORLD BETWEEN STAGE AND SCREEN.
Lauren Edson is a dancer, choreographer, educator and filmmaker, whose on-stage works have been presented across the United States. Edson is the founding artistic director of LED, a multimedia performing arts company based in Boise, Idaho, and named by Dance Magazine as “25 to Watch” in 2020. The company has been described as a “feat of pyrotechnics” by the Seattle Times and since its inception, has been at the forefront of artistic innovation.

Luma Jasim is an Iraqi-born artist. She performs, paints, sculpts, creates stop-motion animation, and uses dance, storytelling, and other media to pursue her artistic vision. Jasim left her country in 2006 to work in Instanbul, Turkey, then immigrated to the US in 2008 as a refugee with her family. Her education includes MA in Graphic Design from The University of Baghdad, Academy of Fine Arts, BFA in Visual Arts from BSU, 2013, MFA in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design, The New School, New York, NY, 2017. Jasim received the Juror merit award for the 2020 Idaho Triennial, Boise Art Museum. She recently completed two solo exhibitions in Telluride, Colorado, and Boise, Idaho.

BRETT PERRY
BUILDING BRIDGES BETWEEN DANCE AND AGRICULTURE.​
Brett Perry is a multi-dimensional artist who believes deeply in the transcendent power of the arts. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Perry discovered the world of dance at the age of 4 and has shared his love of the form with audiences around the world. Graduating with a BFA from The Juilliard School in 2008, Perry quickly moved to Boise, Idaho to begin his professional career with the highly celebrated Trey McIntyre Project.
During the six years of TMP's time in Boise, Perry received the prestigious Princess Grace Award for Dance in 2010 and toured throughout Asia as a United States Cultural Ambassador. Although the company spent many weeks on the road, he cultivated dynamic relationships in Boise that continue to shape his life today. Perry is a freelance dancer working locally and nationally.
